To further promote scientific and technological cooperation in cancer between China and The Belt and Road & Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC), National Cancer Center of China (NCC), with the support from the National Health Commission (NHC) of the People's Republic of China, is going to hold a Workshop for Cancer Standardized Diagnosis and Treatment & Cancer Prevention and Control on June 16-19, 2021. All the scientists, doctors, and scholars from Central and Eastern European Countries working in various fields of cancer are welcome to participate.

To contribute to decrease the cancer burden by capacity building of cancer standardized diagnosis and treatment, and to cultivate the leadership of scientific and technological talents in the field of cancer prevention and control in Central and Eastern European countries.

• Doctors or researchers engaged in cancer diagnosis and treatment & prevention and control in scientific research institutions or hospitals in Central and Eastern European Countries, including Albania, Bosnia, and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech, Hungary, Latvia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Lithuania, Romania;

• Related working experience (at least 2 years)

• good communication in English or Chinese is required.

Note: Preference will be given to candidates who focus on cancers of the lung, breast, colorectum, and prostate in China and Central and Eastern European countries.

Presenters are from National Cancer Center of China and some National Institutions from The Belt and Road Countries or CEEC. If needed, some senior clinicians or scientists from other related hospitals or Institutions in China will also be invited for experience sharing.

The registration fee, workshop materials, access to the online space and costs of participation for the workshop will be covered by China NCC.
